Ovation Haircare – I SWEAR by this stuff! I originally started using Ovation after I had extensions and was trying to repair the damage they had caused. This was back in my days as a Dallas Mavericks Dancer.  Since then I have tried numerous products but I ALWAYS come back to Ovation.  I personally use the Color Protection Cell Therapy System since I have highlights in my hair.  Skeptical? I don’t blame you!  I was too.  I tried it on a total whim and now I am a loyal customer.  They offer trial sizes if you want to give it a go before committing.  I promise you will not be disappointed. You can thank me later. 😉

Marc Jacobs coconut face primer – I will admit that when it comes to putting on makeup, I usually go with a faster is better attitude.  That means I skip out on a lot of things that would actually make my makeup look better and more polished.  I was recently turned onto a makeup artist named, Kandee Johnson, that I am totally fan girling over.  I’m sure you’ve heard of her but if you haven’t, check her Youtube channel out HERE. In one of Kandee’s videos I watched (I watched probably 30 of them on the day I found her) she talked about this primer.  I bought this primer and 3 other products she recommended in that video and I was not let down.  This stuff is super hydrating and helps my makeup last longer.  And… it feels amazing on my skin.

A pop of color in the home

Here I am talking about a pop of color again.  My love for that unexpected color bleeds over from how I dress and into my home.  Most of my house is neutral but I love to throw in an accent that is bold and vibrant.  In my bedroom we did just that with this turquoise headboard.  It gives my bedroom life!  Shop these home decor pieces below:

Friday Faves – Camo & Hot pink

I love nothing more than a big ole, in your face, out of nowhere, pop of color!  We wear a LOT of camo at our house.  We consider it our family color.  I know that may sound silly to some, but we work hard to be a great team in our house and a great team needs a great color.  We are a house full of adventure seekers, adrenaline junkies, fighters, warriors, athletes, hard workers, and rough and tumblin’ boys…  What other color could we choose?  So, when we as a family sport our “family color”, I throw in some hot pink. Howdy y’all!

So sorry it has been so long. Lots has been happening in our little family! I’m excited to share that we have moved back home to TEXAS! We are THRILLED to be back home and close to family and friends that we consider family.  These little dudes couldn’t be happier.  We got them all decked out in Texas gear.  We are sad to leave the San Francisco area.  Specifically the friendships we made along the way and also the quick drive to the BEACH, but we are thankful we are where we have always felt is home.  Please have patience with us as we get used to our new location and schedule.  I’m sure there will be hiccups along the way but I am pumped about this new development in our lives!
